Product: Trackball Mouse Microprocessor Module

Description: Control unit for the remote trackball mouse for high- end television using first- ever point-and-click interface for TVs

Objectives Achieved: Increased high-end projection TV sales by 5%

Product: Echo Canceller Resource Module

Description: Hardware platform to eliminate voice echo in telecom networks to improve call quality

Company: Tellabs

Target Customers: Telecom Service Providers, Telecom Solution Providers.

Objectives Achieved: Increased echo detection and elimination in 32ms using normalized least mean squared (NMLS) algorithm

Product:Tandem Free Operation Module

Description: Hardware platform to compress 64 voice calls into 1

Company: Tellabs

Target Customers: Telecom Service Providers, Telecom Solution Providers.

Objectives Achieved: 64x voice signal compression which lead to reduction in long distance voice call costs

Description: Multi-product portfolio that improved voice quality in mobile networks

Description: Hardware/software platform that digitally aggregates lower bandwidth connection to higher/faster connections

Product: Metro Ethernet Switch

Description: Hardware/software platform that aggregates and delivers ethernet services to the edge of a metropolitan geography (“edge of a city”)

Objectives Achieved: White-labeled an existing product from a partner (“buy-vs-build”) and integrated as part of software management layer. Deployed at tier 2 telecom service providers.

Product: Dense-Wave Division Multiplexer / Optical Networking

Description: Hardware/software platform that converted and aggregated digital signals into light waves

Objectives Achieved: Drove $200m annual revenue. Drove $33m cost reductions. Setup supply chain and manufacturing at different contract manufacturers spanning China, Thailand, Mexico, and US.

Description: Cloud-based big data analytics PaaS platform used to develop applications on top via DIY/self-serve including integration of ML/AI

Objectives Achieved: Productized an internal Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platform and sold offering to different industries and market geographies. Reduced operating costs by combining platform technology and information technology to utilize common resources. Packaged offering as product subscription and professional services.

Product: Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) Platform

Description: Cloud-based big data real- time DaaS platform used to develop AV/ADAS applications on top via DIY/self-serve including integration of ML/AI. Hosted company-wide software services.

Company: HERE Technologies

Target Customers: Automotive, Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketplace/eCommerce (B2B)

Objectives Achieved: Established a 300-person platform organization with locations in Chicago, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo, and Singapore and managed a budget of €60M. Built a global Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform used by customers and internal teams with 50+ contracted customers, 240+ customer pipeline, and +€400M book of business. Served as an envoy for platform organization and interacted regularly with C-Suite and board/shareholders. Steered team to develop and deploy a global Minimum Viable Product (MVP) platform to automotive OEMs. In addition, migrated internal HERE products to run on platform to gain efficiencies. Collaborated and worked closely with a Chinese company and operationalized a joint venture in China. Additionally, secured customer contracts in North America, Australia, APAC, and EMEA.

Product: Software-as-a- Service (SaaS) Distribution Services Platform

Company: Utopia

Target Customers: Music, Financial Services, eCommerce (B2B, B2C, D2C)

Objectives Achieved: Scale the distribution services business unit to €80M with a path towards €300M by integrating three (3) acquired companies into the business unit consisting of software assets and physical warehouse distribution centers. Locations included London, Chicago, and Dallas. Define the overall product strategy for the distribution services business unit. Navigate and drive the global expansion of distribution services Software-as-a- Service (SaaS) application. Provide executive leadership to 5 direct reports and manage $2M operating budget annually. Authored the product manifesto and strategy- to-execution plan for the distribution services business unit, receiving C-Suite and board approval for the overall product strategy. Bootstrapped core product management processes for the company, including customer lifecycle management, product development lifecycle, roadmapping, product/service cataloging, and capability mapping. Worked closely with the leadership team and Human Resources to implement career architecture for the product organization and the accompanying performance management and development process for the entire company.

Product: Virtual Product Manager (VPM) GenAI application

Company: Infinera

Target Customers: Internal (Product Managers, Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Commercial Managers, Technical Support), External (Contracted Customers, Channel Partners)

Objectives Achieved: The Virtual Product Manager (VPM) is a GenAI application that scales the facilitation of question and answer about product capabilities. The objective is to efficiently answer questions about product features and capabilities using generative search. The key result is to reduce the time to accurately answer product related questions from days/hours to seconds (8 days down to 10 seconds). The overarching benefit of VPM is efficiency resulting in faster time-to-market and higher quality customer engagements thus potential of increase revenue and profitability. The quantified value is at least $2.3m per year. It started as an application running on internal virtual machines and migrated to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Vertex AI using Model Garden.

Entrepreneurial Experience

Product: Healthcare Management System

Description: Software application with multiple modules: Healthcare worker (nurse, therapist, etc) patient clinical assessment portal, Human capital management (HCM) healthcare worker scheduling, Healthcare durable goods warehouse inventory and eCommerce, Per patient pro- forma P&L analysis. Hardware platform consisting of in-building networking, client-server computer system.

Objectives Achieved: Designed and coded entire software application. Designed and deployed in-building network. Reached ~$30k annual revenue.

Description: Software to efficiently test coaxial cable radio frequency emissions

Description: Z80 microprocessor-based with infra-red detection of a road that enabled a robotic vehicle to drive autonomously around a track

Description: Application of least-mean square (LMS) algorithm to remove background noise from speech for recorded audio and real-time phone calls

Description: Application of LAMSTAR neural network to detect words and tonality as voice password to open a virtual security box
